Panjab Digital Library (Punjab Digital Library)

Panjab Digital Library (Punjab Digital Library - ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ) represents an effort to digitally preserve and make accessible the rich heritage of Panjab (Punjab). For ages, these historical treasures have been threatened with loss or damage but digitization has come as a boon for preservation of all important data.

Now, PDL seeks to digitally preserving them in their original form, color, graphics and texture, while at the same time, changing the way we access and utilize these materials. It will redefine the role and scope of a library. The library comprises of digitized manuscripts, books, newspapers, magazines and photographs.

Scholars and public alike will have easy access to the online digital library with powerful searching and browsing capability. This digitization of history holds great promises in research, education and awareness, while saving precious time and money.

Panjab (Punjab) Digital Library or PDL starting from a small house has developed into the nations reference library. We request authors and publishers to allow us to include their publications in the Digital Library.
